Happy Holidays

Well, I hope everyone's Christmas was as nice as ours. We all went to my brother Franks and my sister Sonja with her family were all there. Our dear friend Barb was there along with several other old and dear friends. Of course do you think I remembered the camera???? Of course not! My neice was smart enough to bring hers though and hopefully she'll send me copies of the pic's she took.

I feel like the luckiest person alive right now. I have received three of the most incredible ornaments in the exchanges!! They are hanging right on the front of my tree where I can admire them all the time. Ladies I can't thank you enough!

Well, I think I'm up and running again so I'll be posting a couple of photo's of what I'm working on. Things have been so crazy it's not much, but I keep plugging away:) lol
I signed up for Sharon Boggon's "Take A Stitch Tuesday" and I'm really excited about that. I have so much to learn and soooo many stitches to conquer so this will be such a great help. I'll be back later to post a couple of pic's. In the meantime I hope everyone is having a safe and healthy holiday season.

My latest two hearts

These are my last two hearts that I just completed. The one on the top is actually (the dark area on the right) emerald green, pink and grey (with blue tones in the middle.) My camera leaves a lot to be desired! (Couldn't be the operator!! lol) Gotta blame it on something besides me:) lol

My completed heart

This is my latest heart that I've completed, and now I'm working on one in purple and kind of a hot pink. The colors are great but I'm having a hard time with it as it's out of my comfort zone with colors. I tend to stay in the pastels area. So I'll just take my time with it and work on others at the same time. :)

Learning Process

Well, I'm learning real quick which materials work well in the CQ'ing and which ones I won't be using again in certain areas... ie: backing for an ornament.. Forgot to put a stabilizer on the backing for one of my ornaments and discovered real quick why I normally do that. lol
S T R E T C H E S out of shape in a heart beat. lol That's what this is all about though the learning process. Next time "I'll ask" before "I do". lol Have a great day!

Well, every day or so I get to add a stitch or two more so I'm slowly getting this done. :) I've been so caught up in the Christmas Ornaments and the hearts I only get to kind of look at this. lol But this will be changing a lot more real soon.:-)

TAZ

Taz is our little terrorist. He runs the household, scares the pants off anyone that comes to the door and rules over my sons large dog. He's our love and has more love to give than any critter I've ever known:) His only problem is he thinks he's a Pitt Bull/Great Dane and he's only a "Tweenie" Dachsund. lol (A Tweenie is larger than a mini, he's a pound over, and smaller than a standard.)
