Pink Saturday!

Pink Saturday is upon us again and though what I'm about to show you isn't pink, it's very interesting. Be sure you go by Beverly's How Sweet The Sound to check out all the wonderful blogs with the beutiful work they're doing and have done.

This is a set of Etched Crystal Southern Pacific glasses in a "storybook" case with the story of each engine on the inside of the box.  They were a safety award lmy husband Bert recieved many years ago.  You can tell how many because Southern Pacific was bought out by Union Pacific eons ago.  I've taken a picture of the key chain awards (never used, they were too pretty) that I framed many moons ago too:) hmmm those pictures came out on top! lol  I'll get the hang of this sooner or later.   Have a wonderful PINK SATURDAY!!!

Oh yeah, here's a pink tulip that goes to a quilt I'm working on.  It was going to be for a friend that was having a her first grandchild and we thought it was a girl, but surprise it's a handsome beautiful baby boy names Hudson!!!

Sorry for the late PS visit- so many pinks, so little time this long holiday weekend!

Happy belated PS!

Morning GF.....I remember Southern Pacific, in fact I believe we road it many times going to visit my grandmother. Good memories. So those are the tulips. They will make a beautiful quilt.
