My block (2nd block that is) "NEMO" for the Fairytale RR is ready to be sent to Gerry!! Yippee! I'm on a roll! Now, if I can just get that same momentum going in getting sewing room organized I'd be tickled pink!lol
Be sure and stop by Quilts n Things now and then too. I'm so fascinated by my Luffa and I write about "it" in both places. Hope everyone has a GREAT day!

SOH Heart for Wilma
Woohoo I'm back in the game! lol Wilma's heart will go out to her this week end and I think I'm caught up. whooppeee! Although I do have to remake my Nemo Block for the Fairytale RR. Sadly it's gone to that nowhere land the postal services know of, but won't tell us. lol It could show up down the road you never know, but it's easier to make another one and all those gals that have worked on it all ready are happy to do it again. What can I say?? There's no way I can get upset when there's wonderful people like that in my life with this RR.:)

I've been Tagged
I've been tagged by Charlene
It's funny ask me 7 things about others I know and No problem! 7 things about me though is going to take some thought! (careful, that's pretty dangerous in my hands!)
1. I love to read, listen to music and watch a good movie. No particular order, just whenever the mood strikes:) Problem with reading though is I pick up a good book and everything else is forgotten!
2. As much as I love people, when I'm out of my element I'm terribly shy and mousy! I've always worked with people and I'm very comfortable with that, but when it comes to striking out on my own...ooooooooh that's so hard for me to do!
3. My best friend Jeanette and I have been buddies for 52 years now!! We've been through marriages, children, grandchildren, jobs, LIFE and still remain close friends:) We talk usually once a week and IM all the time.
4. I have two sisters, Sonja and Loretta, who are two of the most talented ladies I've ever known! Both are amazing quilters (among a number of other gifts) and both are doing CQ as well. I drool when I see their work:)
5. I'm the world's worst traveler! When we get in the car to drive for any distance, I immediately fall asleep. I love it when we get there but am such a grunch when we travel! A strange combination because I love to see new places and things. lol
6. I love animals! At one time we had 5 dogs ranging from a Basset Hound to an Afgan Hound! Those in between were a Collie/Shepherd, Cocker Spaniel and a part wolf/part mutt. Along with that we had horses, cats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, hampsters, fish and baby squirrels that we nurtured till they were old enough to turn out. Now we have TAZ (a mini-dachsund):)
7. I think I'm a good friend and good Grandma:) I would do anything in this world for my grandchildren and if a friends in need I'll be there. I think we all have our good days and our bad days so as a friend we stick by one another and help each other through those icky ones that sneak up on us. God doesn't give us any more than we can handle.:)

Hellooooooo:)
It sure seems like my posts are getting further and further apart lately. I've spent the last week or so down flat on my back for the most part. I thought I was superwoman and could lift some stuff out of the car that turned out to be heavier than I thought. So no more lifting for me! Thought I was real smart yesterday too. NOT! Our two fur babies decided to get into a tussle over a tennis ball so I was real smart and reached down to get the ball. Bad move....Taz took a bite out of my wrist in the chaos so I've been soaking and dressing a pretty mean bite on my wrist! Fortunaley the bite is pretty superficial so dressing and soaking has been the fun I've had yesterday and today. The bruises smart and believe me that's the last time I underestimate the strength of a mini-dachsund! I'm on the mend from that so hopefully I've had my share for a while to come.
I'll be posting a picture of Leona's Fairtale RR block. I was able to finish it and will get it in the mail to Gerry tomorrow.
Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the spring weather. Those in the midwest my prayers are with you during this part of the year.

Hello Everyone
Well, I think I'm back finally and it sure feels good:) The last couple of months have been extremely difficult for me and my family but I think we're on the mend now:)
The tragedy in Virginia has affected all of us in one way or another but has hit home terribly hard for Carolyn Cibik of Evening Star Designs . Virginia Tech is her alumni and her friends daughter is now attending there. She is ok, thank God, but it's been difficult as it's so close to Carolyn's heart. Know that our prayers are with you Carolyn with everything you're dealing with right now.
I'd like to thank Pat Winter of Gatherings
for all her help with learning how to do the heat transfer:) Pat took the time not only to answer my questions but when I still couldn't get the transfers to work, she sent me some of hers to try so we'd know if it was the copy or just what. I'm now in search of another copy store, as the one's I tried don't work. Thank you Pat, you are such a lovely person!
I hope to get some pictures posted tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great evening and be safe:)
